Mala Making Workshop

Join us for an evening of intentional creativity and fun as you create your very own 108 bead mala necklace.

Your guide for this workshop is Karissa Devore. Karissa is a yoga teacher who first discovered mala beads as a mindfulness tool during her meditation studies nearly 10 years ago. She learned to make them herself while going through her yoga teacher training and has been a knot-tying devotee ever since!

Karissa will lead you through the process of designing a mala to support your intentions, helping you choose beads from a selection personalized to you. You will learn how to tie your mala in the traditional method, how to energetically cleanse your mala and how to use it as a tool in your mindfulness practices.

We will provide all the materials, just bring yourself and your intention. Your intention could be something very specific such as, "I intend to be more conscious of the energy I bring to my work." or it could be more general, such as, "I intend to be more open."
